My gas furnace suddenly stopped working, so I called CARE to get a tech out and find the problem. They sent Devin and he was great. He was very personable, and best of all, he asked that I watch him while he worked on my furnace, explaining step by step what he was doing and why. He went above and beyond any other tech I have ever had do work for me. Not to mention, he solved my problem in half and hour or less. CARE has a great asset in Devin and I will continue my association with them if I need any heating or cooling work.

 

From January 1st until April 15th, 2012 we have reduced our service call fee to just $29.00. That means a service call with CARE Heating and Cooling is less than half the cost of any other company that we know of in Columbus.  Plus, every time that our service technicians work on a gas furnace, we do a comprehensive carbon monoxide test to make sure your furnace and house is safe.

Our super cool award! It lights up!

Time sure moves along quickly.  We recently celebrated our 10th year as a Lennox dealer – an entire decade of installing the best HVAC equipment in the business.  Lennox gave us a cool award (it glows!) which is now proudly displayed in our office.

A whole home humidifier can be added to the duct system your furnace already uses.  It adds moisture to the air that your furnace circulates throughout your house when it runs.  The humidifier is controlled by what is called a humidistat … think of it kind of like a thermostat for your humidifier.  Rather than responding to temperature, the humidistat responds to the relative humidity level in your home.  Set the humidistat to a comfortable level and you’ll stay that way all winter long.

Description Of Work:  Our furnace could have lasted another year or two but it was so rusted out we were beginning to worry about the quality of air we were breathing in our house.  We have had a maintenance contract with CARE for 5 years and really our only choice to do the work.  We got one other estimate and it wasn’t even close to CARE’s.  We got a new furnace, A/C, media filter, and humidifer.  We initially weren’t going to do the hot water tank but after shopping a bit we realized the quote they provided us was on par so we had that installed as well.  Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell us what we didn’t want.  The installers were professional, courteous, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.  Now we have piece of mind that we are breathing quality air in our house.  Thank you CARE.
