Ostrander is a small village located in Delaware County. The village was founded as a result of the railroad running through the land connecting Springfield and Delaware. Ostrander’s name originated from Shelemiah R. Ostrander, a civil engineer for the railroad. Although the railroad helped to from the village, it has since been closed due to deteriorating tracks. The village remains a quiet but exciting community that hosts an annual car show and other holiday celebrations. CARE Heating and Cooling, Inc. proudly serves the Ostrander community.
